At Being Real, we have spent years working alongside organisations to build mentally healthy workplaces. From consultancy and training to helping businesses align with standards such as ISO 45003 and BS 30480, our work has always been rooted in one simple belief: when people are supported to be well at work, everyone benefits.

Today, we are launching our blog — a space where we will share the conversations, insights, and practical thinking that shape our work every day.

Why We Are Starting This Blog

Workplace mental health is no longer a fringe topic. It sits at the heart of how organisations attract and retain talent, manage risk, maintain productivity, and fulfil their duty of care. Yet despite growing awareness, many businesses still struggle to move from good intentions to meaningful action.

This blog exists to help bridge that gap. We want to offer practical, honest perspectives on the issues that matter most — from understanding what genuine wellbeing strategy looks like, to exploring how emerging trends like artificial intelligence are reshaping the mental health landscape.
